CSV File shows too many blank rows and cannot be imported
Quote from Deepa Kapoor on November 24, 2025, 11:16 amIf you saved an excel file to a csv file, usually there are lots of rows at the bottom of the file. In version 10.5.2 (and below) of OfficeClip this may trigger an error saying that the contact limit is exceeded. It may also create a lot of blank contacts.
To remove these rows in the contact manager do the following:
- Open the file in Excel
- Go to the first blank row and select the entire row by clicking on the row header
- Click Ctrl-Shift-Down arrow keys to select all the rows below
- Right click and select Delete... and then select Entire Row
- Save the file again
Now you should be able to import information into OfficeClip
Note: This issue is fixed in version 10.5.3 and above.
