Linking incoming emails where no contact record yet exists

Situ: Emails coming in re new leads/opportunities from people I meet and give my business card to, who do not have a Contact record.
I want to be able to set up a contact from the email so the two are linked, so it becomes part of the Opportunity pursuit record. Can this be done? If not, can it go into a future release?
Pls advise.

Yes this is a great idea. I think what you mean is the ability to link from email to contact. We will consider it in a future release.
