Permission for Web Calendar Events
Quote from Deepa Kapoor on November 27, 2025, 2:10 amOfficeClip Calendar can manage three types of events:
- Personal Event - These events are not seen only by the creator
- Organization Event - The entire organization can see the event
- Meeting Event - Only meeting attendees can see the event
Calendar events can only be edited by the following users:
- An administrator
- The creator of the event
- Via Proxy
Administrators have full access to any events created by anybody in the organization.
Proxy is a mechanism using which a user can provide event modify access to another user (who can then do edit on the event on behalf of the previous user). To create a proxy the user can go to Calendar > Admin > Proxy screen and create give proxy access to anybody that will have full access to the event.
